On 22 February 2015 there was not an inch to spare in the chapel of the Barcelona seminary. Dozens of people who could not get in had to make do with remaining in the cloister. Inside the church, the then Archbishop of Barcelona, Cardinal Lluís Sistach, was celebrating the funeral Mass for the repose of the soul of Marcos Pou, the young man who had entered the seminary barely ten days earlier, on the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. His life had been cut short at the age of 23 – as happens all too often with so many other young people – by a road accident.
