Do you believe that the world needs anything other than the witness, the light or the warmth of that utterly inconceivable intensity of life, of that redemption from nothingness, from pettiness, from contradiction, from death?

Luigi Giussani

The life of Marcos Pou has been — and still is — for many a concrete answer to these words. On 23 February 2015, hundreds of people from different parts of the world packed the church of La Bonanova on the day of his funeral. Barely ten days earlier, having completed his degree in Physics, Marcos had entered the Seminary of Barcelona. He was 23 years old. Who was this young man who, in so short a time, left so deep a mark?

This book offers a space in which to listen to his voice. Thanks to the trust of those who kept his writings, it brings together fragments of his diaries, letters, emails and messages, along with the testimonies of those who shared with him his university years, his travels, his conversations and a faith lived in common.
